Through our shop on IslandOctopus.com, you have the choice to pay via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Paypal. Our Weebly-based shopping cart is hosted on our secure 128-bit encrypted connection. Through our Etsy shop, payment is processed through Etsy's secure checkout. Because we use secure third-party payment processors, The Island Octopus™ does not receive your credit card information. All orders shipped to a Missouri address will be charged a sales tax rate of 8.738%. Per new tax laws, orders placed through Etsy and shipped to an address in select other states will be charged applicable sales tax.
Please let us know if you are not completely happy with your purchase. We hope every order is loved, but we won't know for sure unless you tell us! If you have any sort of comment on your order, please send us an email or Etsy convo and we'll be happy to work with you.
Refunds and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery. If you would like to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return. For a full refund, products must be new/unused, and must be shipped back to us within one month. The customer is responsible for paying return shipping in most cases. We will be happy to refund you after we have received and inspected the returned product (within 2 days of delivery back to us). Please email us for details.
If your order was damaged in shipping, please let us know right away. Photographs of the damaged item and packaging may be required for a full refund. We do our best to package items safely, and would like to know what we can improve for future orders. We will issue a return shipping label for damaged items.
If you have not received your order but it is confirmed as delivered through tracking, we are unfortunately not able to refund or replace your item. Your local Post Office or the USPS.com site may be able to help you find your package. Additionally, you may want to check with your neighbors to see if the items was mis-delivered.
Refunds are not accepted on digital items if they have already been downloaded.
We are following CDC guidelines for COVID safety. As always, we wash our hands before filling orders, and close our shop for orders if we are not feeling well.

Is Your Order a Gift?
If you would like the gift order to be shipped directly to the gift recipient, please enter their address in the "ship to" field. Be sure to let us know at checkout (in the "note to seller box"), and we'll include a gift invoice, and a short gift message of your choice.
Local Order Delivery
If you live in the St. Louis, Missouri area, your order of $35 or more may qualify for free local delivery. Please email us for details!
