Angelsmoke Incense
An "incense pearl" bend created at The Island Octopus Incensarium.
You will receive approximately 15 grams (0.52 ounces) of all natural resin-based incense housed in an aluminum tin with an illustrated label. The Island Octopus' "incense pearls" are hand-rolled for easy use with charcoal censers. We highly recommend trying them on electric incense warmers.
*** Blend description ***
Angelsmoke Incense first appeared unofficially in 2013 as part of the "Yuletide Traditions" line from Ethereal Aromas Incense Company. The initial blend was a personal experiment, with only a few jars sold to customers. This blend was originally inspired by a recipe originally published by the late German anthropologist Christian Rätsch. I have used this in private for years, and have finally created my own unique take on this enchanting blend.
The recipe is primarily based in my Hojary grade Neptunian Frankincense (Boswellia sacra). Sumatran benzoin, Turkish storax, Royal Green Hojary and Spanish labdanum round out the resin base. Mixed with a richly delicious rose by-absolute. The oils of rose, orris, sandalwood, lemon, nutmeg and clove were infused into the resin base. Blended with antique Mysore sandalwood, Hawaiian sandalwood and Bulgarian rose petals. Hand rolled in fine white birch bark powder.
Angelsmoke Incense is best experienced on an electric incense heater such as the legendary Golden Lotus heater. "Incense pearls" may be crushed before use to provide greater surface area. Also excellent as a "church" style altar incense using traditional charcoal method. Please ask if you have any questions!
